Administrative Assistant, Police Department Conshohocken, PA Conshohocken Borough, located in Montgomery County, PA, is seeking a full-time Administrative Assistant for the Borough of Conshohocken Police Department. The Administrative Assistant is responsible for serving as a first contact with the public, perform a variety of complex and technical customer service and administrative work which allows the Borough Police Department and the various departments and functions to provide residents, business owners and visitors the quality public service required by the Borough Council. Well-qualified candidates will be able to perform tasks independently. The Administrative Assistant is responsible for pleasantly greeting residents and the general public, receives and processes citizen, public and constituent calls, messages and requests and records and distributes to the appropriate department or individual as directed by the Chief of Police. Employee must be self-motivated with exceptional oral and written communication skills; possess the ability to work under difficult or stressful conditions with frequent interruptions and short deadlines. High School diploma or equivalent; customer service, administrative and secretarial experience, especially in a municipal or state government preferred; familiarity with office, computer and information technology equipment; some knowledge of law enforcement regulations and procedures; demonstrated ability to multitask and prioritize needs of multiple individuals; excellent organizational and problem solving skills; ability to establish effective working relationships with residents, visitors and the general public. This is an FLSA non-exempt position with an excellent benefits package.
