New Business Development Account Executive
The Colorado Springs Gazette/Gazette Media, located in beautiful downtown Colorado Springs, Colorado, is seeking a dynamic, forward thinking Account Executive who understands the challenges of Advertising Sales.
Your Day:
Strategic prospecting, conducting needs assessments, idea and proposal generation, presentation of advertising recommendations and closing the sale.
Meet with individual clients monthly, annually or quarterly to review campaign progress, budgets and create new strategies.
Effectively present solution-based advertising proposals and recommendations that consider and incorporate all Gazette’s products, digital, print and deliver and event opportunities.
Work to build a pipeline of accounts and opportunities and review digital campaign progress, budgets and optimize digital strategies.
You Have:
Media and Marketing Knowledge – an understanding of consumer marketing and advertising, media and the quickly changing world of digital marketing and advertising.
Selling – Advanced training and/or experience in sales. Minimum of 2 – 3 years sales experience.
Consultative Sales Style – demonstrated by effective listening skills and the ability to determine client needs through proper needs assessment techniques.
Problem Solving/Analysis - experience analyzing and developing marketing strategies and campaigns that use consumer data.
Business Acumen – demonstrated ability to quickly understand business situations and make good decisions that lead to favorable outcomes. Ability to quickly understand the businesses of our clients.
Communication Proficiency – strong interpersonal and customer communication skills.
Customer Focus – ability to build and implement effective account and customer management strategies and to build long term relationships with customers and prospects.
Motivation and Drive – you achieve the best value for your clients and through success the best life style for yourself and your family.
