IT Application Developer/Analyst

Salisbury University is seeking qualified applicants for the position of IT Application Developer/Analyst.
Primary Job Duties: Provide systems support for the administrative software systems of the university, assisting with development, configuration, administration, upgrade, and integration of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system applications. This position will ensure compliance with USM and SU policy and procedure as well as any audit requirements. Other work-related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems or Computer Science or related field. One to three (1-3) years of related experience. Experience with one or more programming/scripting languages. Basic understanding of enterprise software applications, SQL, and data reporting.
Must be detail oriented and have excellent interpersonal, customer service, organization and planning, prioritization, problem solving, follow through, time management, and oral and written communication skills. Also, must be flexible and possess the ability to successfully handle multiple tasks/projects simultaneously and work well under pressure, work independently and in a team-oriented environment. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite is required.
Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience serving in a developer or analyst role in Workday and/or PeopleSoft ERP environments. Training or experience with data integration solutions. Previous experience developing and supporting on-premise and cloud applications. Familiarity developing automated processes, applications, and/or data integration interfaces leveraging web services, API's, and/or scripting languages.
This is a full-time exempt State position with a full benefits package. Salary will be commensurate with experience and qualifications. Telework opportunities may be available for this position.
