Job Description

Accountable for planning and scheduling all maintenance work performed in area of assignment.  Is responsible, as a liaison, to ensure coordination of the planning and scheduling between Field Operation Supervisors and Crew Chief to appropriate records and files in the computerized maintenance management system; record accurate and detailed information in order to permit meaningful analysis and reporting of results for completed work.  

Position may also perform work activities associated with Crew Chief on smaller programmatic teams. Other Duties as Assigned

Employment Guidelines:
Typically has Associate's Degree [Bachelor's preferred] and 6+ years' experience in planning and coordinating maintenance work activities

License(s) / Certification(s): 
Valid State of Florida Driver's License.

Physical Requirements/ Working Environment:
Due to the District's response role and in the total scope of emergency management, this position may at times, be required to provide support before, during and after major storm events and emergency situations, such as hurricanes or other declared emergencies, depending on assigned emergency response role.

Mostly sedentary in an office environment sitting at a desk and operating a personal computer to produce work products. Some travel to conduct business at remote locations.
