Summit County is currently recruiting for a full time Corrections Cook. Performs skilled duties in preparing meals for the inmates and County jail personnel. Working knowledge of food preparation using a variety of types of utensils and kitchen equipment. Graduation from high school and experience in institutional, restaurant, or home cooking. Must possess a food handler's permit. Must possess a HACCP Safe Serve National Restaurant Certification within 3 months of hire date. May be filled by a Corrections Cook I with one year experience.
Salary Range: $16.82 - $23.56 per hour or may be filled by a Corrections Cook II with 3 years experience. Salary Range: $17.83 - $24.97 per hour.
